I am not referring to any posts on here, but the more the leftist media and assorted elitists and clowns and buffoons have attacked Sarah, the more popular she has become -- an astounding 16,000 people gathered on a cold windy day near here (a not heavily populated area) for one of her recent rallies. If McCain manages to carry Virginia, I think she will be a main reason. She doesn't speak Washington sophisticate-speak; she seems to be in many ways one of us. As far as I know, she hadn't planned to be in the middle of a national campaign when she was selected the first of September, so it's not surprising that she has had a few stumbles (though not nearly as many as garrulous Joe Biden, whose are underreported), but she has handled all the attacks and the mocking with grace and aplomb. I remember that people mocked Ronald Reagan when he first appeared on the national political scene as "just an old actor" and a dumb-a** too, and now many regard him as having been one of our greatest Presidents. From close observation, I do consider Palin to be quite intelligent as well as having common sense (which is an uncommon quality), and the more she is attacked by the outrageously slanted media and the wine-and-cheese set, the more I like her. I think I see some of the Reagan folksiness in her. I think she well could become our first female President one day whether McCain/Palin wins this Tuesday or not.
 
Why not just vote for me as your very own Plumber1? Has Joe the Plumber had a heart valve operation? I don't think so.

I would promise to advocate strongly for VR patients and work to have coumadin come in chewable tablets with interesting flavors.

When did The Chicago Tribune, George Will, Colin Powell, Ken Adelman and Christopher Buckley become leftist media, elitists, clowns, or buffoons?

Is the least sophisticated, most ordinary, most "folksy" candidate really the ideal?

These are rhetorical questions; I know the answers and I do not mean to begin (accelerate?) a flame war by asking them. Sometimes when one steps back and looks at what one has written or said with a fresh perspective, one can gain new insights.

I was going to write something like this, too! So I'll just add: When did the Republican leaders who have criticized the choice of Sarah Palin become leftists/anti-Republicans/McCain haters/etc.? They didn't, of course. You don't have to be a Democrat to think she's a Bad Idea.
 
Like I said before Religion and Politics, no one agree's.

So say whatever you want, everyone is entilted to their opinion!
