5.5 INR antibiotics, continued infections... not sure what to do...

thank you so much for the replies... i had another fun filled day in the emerg for my continuing issues post-hysterectomy, i managed to convince them not to keep me, but the need for the CT sooner than later was decided... hopefully next week. i'm having more issues after the hysterectomy than...

5.5 INR antibiotics, continued infections... not sure what to do...

I haven't been much for posting, my continued battle with infections and pain have put me in mental state far from what I'd like everyone to see me in. As some of you already know, I had a hysterectomy in late October, full abdominal. I had complications following the hysterectomy, a hematoma...

    Sleeping Much?

I still have issues with sleeping also. During the day my loud ticking is a comfort, but come night time its an albatross. I tried sleeping with my headphones on with quiet music on my ipod, and sometimes a fan helps... but I also find myself waking in the middle of the night. I'm always tired...

    PVC's

I'm currently on 25mg Metoprolol 2 times a day... my surgeon just dropped that down from 50mg 2 times a day. Maybe he shouldn't have done that? I'll talk to my doctor about putting it back up and see if that helps. Thanks for the input!

    PVC's

Last night my doctors nurse sent me to the hospital for an ECG after I spoke with her on the phone. Over the past several weeks I had been having strange palpitations several times a day... very strong, with the sensation of having the wind knocked out of me and my heart skipping a beat...

    how does one recover

I'm so happy you're out of the house and somewhere safe. I'd say concentrate on just getting yourself better, but I know your mind will be on the situation you left behind as well. It's still better to be outside looking in and getting yourself healed. I counted my blessings as I read your...

    Birth Control Pills and INR

was in the forums looking for stuff on "female issues" when i came upon this thread. i had an edometrial ablation done in 2003. my GYN told me there would be a 50/50 chance i would not have a period again. i was one of the lucky ones. however, since 2004 i've been experiencing abdominal pain...

    What Surgeon said Friday

So good to hear you're getting out and driving already! I remember my first time going out to eat... what a treat! I started putting Vit E on my scar as soon as it was completely closed up. I supposed it's hit and miss whether it really works or not, but it won't work if we don't try! It's...

Thanks everyone! I wish everyone could have a tiny scar like that too.... sorry yours got messed up Deb, but i'm sure even the new long one looks fine. I wish I could say I feel as good as what I appear, but I'm still having a lot of issues with pain, and other minor stuff. Dr Chu has those...

TOOTS pic 6 weeks post op

I have to admit I was wonderfully surprised when I woke up too, even tho Dr Chu did say he would try to make it that small! Don't know how he did it, but very happy he could! Thanks for all the nice comments! Jen
