Wise, your uncle is also in my prayers. I pray that he will recover and be well again. He is so young. Pneumonia is bad enough but joined by other illnesses, it is rough.

p.s. personal thank you, too.

Ronnie is still in the hospital. Right now all they're treating is the pneumonia. He'll go to his diabetes wound specialist Monday if he is out of the hospital by then to deal with that issue. He won't let this hospital treat his wounds due to past experiences. I know little about why, so I can't really elaborate. Anyway, he's having bouts of bad chills and shaking. Tonight I noticed that he stopped the severe chills/shaking within a half hour of starting IV Levaquin. Would that simply mean the pneumonia is causing the chills and shaking? The nurse said she didn't know.

Anyway, that's the only update I know. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. They're appreciated, as you are!

Ronnie was released from the hospital yesterday, sooner than I expected. He said he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I'm not surprised. He has already had several heart attacks.

Thanks for your prayers. They were greatly appreciated.

For those of you who prayed for Ronnie, I was just called by his wife. He was found unresponsive this morning. His family is in a consultation room waiting for news; doctors were trying to revive him. Thanks for prayers for their family.

I'm so sorry to hear he passed. My Mom died Mothers Day weekend 2 days after she was admitted for pnuemonia, so when your Uncle was discharged and we hadn't heard anything, I was hoping he was doing better. You are all in my thoughts
