Believe me. It's going by fast for me too! I feel like I missed the first half of the pregnancy because of all the surgeries I had. Suddenly we're way more than half way there and I'm not ready! :eek:
 
What a moving post Niki & I pray that your hopes & dreams of having a child becomes a reality for you & Nathan. I know you & your hubby would make excellent & loving parents.

Even if you had another nine and a half months, you still wouldn't be quite ready.........there's always some last minute things ya meant to get done, but didn't quite get around to it!;) I'm still totallly and absolutely thrilled for y'all. YOu are going to be a wonderful mom~! Much love. J.

Congrats Niki! Guess you better return some of the pink paint and clothes! I was right all those months ago! Where's my prize? I'll be satisfied with new baby pics in a few months!
 
I did not think there could be any certainty from ultrasounds. Things have changed so much in the 22 years (wow, has it really been 22 years!!) since I was last pregnant, but I thought the ultrasounds were not conclusive at all. :confused:

I enjoyed the quick wit of my Ob/Gyn when I was pregnant with my first child. There was no reason for me to have an amnio, and I was getting impatient to know what the sex of the child was. So during a visit I looked right at the doctor and asked, "so is it a boy or a girl?" and, of course, he quickly said, just, "yes" :p :mad:

Anyway. 10 fingers, 10 toes. That's the best news!! :D

Be ready by enjoying your time with your husband, alone, as much as you can, now. Go to movies, out to dinner, off for the weekend. You may miss those times. They will be replaced by unbelievable joy, but still... you may miss those times. Get the most out of them now!!

Just wait until I post the 3D ultrasound pics we're getting on Wednesday! ;) You can see the babies' cubby cheeks. :D

Wow. You must have had a lot of time on your hands. ;)

Thank you very much. We truly have been blessed. And as much as I'd love to be able to be pregnant, I'm SO glad we are getting this experience. :D
 
I am so glad you have found someone to work toward giving both you and Nathan the most precious gift God has ever given all of us. Keep us posted on how things go.
