Here we've had a problem with voters voting on behalf of deceased relatives as well as just voting for friends who don't feel like it....Our advanced voting is for the physically handicapped, seniors, and those who will be out of town on voting day. No one else.

So I guess those folks who are bragging that they registered and voted multiple times are simply lying for whatever reason?????????? If they are lying, it is really a shame since it is causing way too much negativity towards the integrity of the system and if they are not lying - well - even worse.

I guess whether voter fraud is occurring depends on whether it favors your candiate and whether it did occur depends on whether your candidate won or lost.;):D

there's probably not much voter fraud occurring, at least not as advertised.
what you've been seeing is fraudulent registrations, not the same. groups
like acorn are required by law to turn any and all registrations in to
the local registrar, regardless of whether they think they are invalid. they
can flag "mickey mouse" as a probably false registration, but they can't just
throw them away. if that were the case, it would be too easy for voter
registration groups with an agenda to throw out undesirable voter
registrations.

so those folks bragging have most likely filled out multiple
registration forms, it's highly unlikely they've been registered more than
once, as discrepancies between registration form and voter rolls and
various databases is flagged. they may even get multiple provisional
ballots, but then most of them will get thrown out once they try to
confirm the data and find multiple mickey mice.

Norma, I love that picture! I have been doing get out the vote phone

calling the last few days on behalf of some of our CA props, and I'd say

about 1/3 of everyone I have called have already voted, I am surprised.

I am going to be a poll watcher on election day, should be interesting.

Anyone watch SNL last night??

SNL will be on again tomarrow with a special election night show

It should be very funny! Debbie :)

The guy called and said he was the French President and then proceeded to ask her several questions. Needless to say, she flubbed a few. Maybe I can find the clip and copy it here. I'll try.

In case you don't understand the french bits:
When he says that his wife wrote a song about Joe the Plumber,
the french part translates into: Lipstick on a Pig
And when he talks about hunting from a helicopter,
the french part translates into: Killing baby Seals.
Then the discussion about Quebec and Canada leaders has incorrect names of leaders.
It's a hysterical prank, but oh, so mean!

Isn't it amazing how a nice thread about voting has turned into a semi-nasty thread about a candidate, attacking things that have no bearing on her ability to govern?

Guess I've missed something Gina...help me out here. Just what did the candidate attack?!?! A moose?? Yes, I can certainly see how killing a moose would have absolutely "no bearing on her ability to govern.."

Now, this is a real funny.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ux3DKxxFoM&NR=1

It's all in fun....great fun.:D And hey Njean -- I even love Biden..:p
