Great!!!.... I talked with another ThrowDowner today (male) and I have come to the conclusion that most of the men in the ThrowDown are not as exercise oriented as the women....I also have receive a private admonishment to get my butt in gear and back to the walking....I'm still not measuring my waist :p

Oh, I'm not REAL good about the exercising... But I try. It helps to have the Wii Fit because I can work out inside my own home. I don't want to get out in this heat for walking, and it requires more motivation than I have to go all the way to the gym. The Wii Fit is too convenient to find an excuse for (so far). I miss it some days when I'm really busy, but today I did it simply because I didn't have a good enough reason NOT to.

I can't imagine anyone telling you to get your butt in gear!:rolleyes:

I'm just back from the gym . . . :p:p:p

Come on, Cooker, get walking!

Superbob just watched demo videos of wii fit. He didn't see any he could do with a blown-out knee.

And waist-measuring?!:eek::eek: Ain't no way SB is getting into that!

Guess doing the limp-along and riding a stationary bike with zero resistance will have to continue to make do.

Besides, the first time a Wii Fit sassed Superbob, he would take it out with a barrage of beer cans. :p

Poor Superbob! Well-meaning church folks have been dropping by with rich, sugary cakes in hand as a token of well wishes for DW, following her mini-stroke. The kindness is greatly appreciated but about the last thing she really needs is confections right now (well maybe a bag of salty chips would be even worse) :p And of course Superbob, who does most of the eating around here, doesn't need them either -- the sugar or the carbs and calories.

But I guess that's the way good folks around these parts show their concern -- not by bringing bags of granola and trail mix. :D

Don't you just love well-meaning sabotage! I'm sending cyber-celery well wishes to SuperDW for her continued success in the salt battle. If there's sodium in celery, I guess we'll just have to sit around and eat Mrs. Dash right out of the shaker.

Yeah, when I was in and out of the hospital in 2005 I had a lot of people from work sending me casseroles... Which is REALLY kind, except none of them cooked low sodium dishes! And considering the condition I was in at the time, low sodium was pretty much a must. :( So at least they're not doing that??? Hope you and DW are able to resist the temptations!
