I have to have a cath July 17 because of new problems. He said he would measure FFR and other physiologic parameters for coronary flow at that time,
Also, they would do intervascular ultrasound. Can anyone explain this to me?

I believe the FFR is the measurement of stenosis/blockage in the coronary arteries

I'm not sure the technical details but my basic understanding is a intravascular ultrasound is a teeny little ultrsound probe at the end of the catheter, I'm not sure if it is in addition to the little camera or instead of one. I think it measure the thickness of build up inside the arteries, where the camera can just see that there is blockage.
