Dana (dcat96) had her AVR on Tuesday (9/2) at Brigham and Womens in Boston and is doing well!!! I actually had the pleasure of SEEING her today in the ICU. She is still a bit uncomfortable and would probably not agree with me but I THOUGHT SHE LOOKED GREAT!!!!!

According to Dana the surgery went exactly as planned. They were going to remove chest tubes and wires late this afternoon and move her to the stepdown unit tonight. She is looking forward to getting out of bed and walking.

Dana's husband Fred was with her and she had a picture of her two beautiful young daughters on the bulletin board in her room. They will be coming in to see Mom on Saturday.

Dana will post from home and in the meantime sends thanks to all for the good wishes and support.

It was great to post this good news from Dana.

Best regards to all, Barbara
