So, can you give us a hint as to what kind of business? There are a lot of fonts out there - some very distinctive that can really make an impact

the simple fact that #3 is winning the vote is likely because its bold and stands out more...so I now wonder if all 3 were bold if that would make a difference for your voters...

It definitely shows that bold gets your attention most which is what you were after...I prefer font #2 better but in bold it would stand out more ...
