SIX years ago I underwent a radical sternectomy and I am glad I did ....it saved my life and now GRANDPA DAYCARE HAS THREE CLIENTS :biggrin2::biggrin2::biggrin2: my grand daughters that I am so proud of 1009861_10151525084082665_584087155_n.jpg

Sorry to top you Greg. 22 years ago today, I checked in to the hospital pre-op. The next day, I had my AVR. I survived surgery. I've even been ticking for the last 22 years.

Glad that its moved on well for you. I guess that is one of the options I face if my infection is not conquered by my body. There are some other drugs I would like try first before going for the radical. Except to simply be able to see what happens next I am not sure there is a benefit in such a thing for me.
