So here I am heading off to surgery. No drugs on board yet. I got to be crazy.

If you all know that sign (I love you) I am making to my wife. I am told I would make that sign when she or the kids would come into my ICU room or leave when I was completely out of it. Amazing how the mind works.

All best wishes. Hope you have successful surgery and bump free, easy recovery.
We'll wait to hear good news when you are 'over the mountain.'

Hubby made that sign to me as they wheeled him into the OR. One of the nurses/docs/whatever in the preop area thought he was throwing up heavy metal horns and started laughing. Yeah, not really dude. Though we find.his misinterpretation funny now.

Side note, we were prepared to sign while he was on the vent in ICU. His hands were tied down the entire time he was.on it so we never used any signs. I talked. He gently nodded. That's it.
