Heart rate and blood pressure

I'm 41 male medium fitness... Bp us real good something like 108/79 but doctor said heart rate is a little high. In bed with trying to lower hear rate I can only get it to 109 bpm... I can feel my chest rock side ways when it beats. When I do my exercises it gets up to 140bpm.

Is this ok??

A HR of 140 so soon after surgery sounds too high. Hopefully you can call your cardio doc or check with a
cardiac rehab person.
