On and off for about 2 months I've had bouts of dizziness. I've told my cardio about it, he seemed to think it was related to my increased blood pressure, so, he doubled my altace and put me on coreg c.r. My blood pressure has gotten better, but the dizziness seems to be getting worse. Just sitting and watching tv, it comes over me in waves. While driving, I've had to pull over until it passes. The sensation occurs when I inhale, I'm a little short of breath and my vision is somewhat blurred. Nothing in particular seems to bring it on. Lying down makes it go away. I told my family doc about it and he wanted to put me on a medicine for vertigo. I declined, because I already take so much, however I'm beginning to reconsider. It just sort of scares me because I had these "spells" right before my first surgery and haven't had them since until recently. Can anyone relate or have any insight?? I have my 3 month checkup with my cardio next week, so this is one of the concerns I plan to discuss with him. I just thought I'd ask you all to give me your views, it may help me when talking about this with my dr. Thank you soo much!!
