Has anyone else received a Coaguchek Survey form in the mail?

According to the cover sheet "As of to-day,15,000 Canadians use the Coaguchek technology in order to measure their INR results. Amongst these 15,000 anticoagulated patients more than 1,700 use a CoaguChek monitor in the comfort of their homes." There are probably more users of different brand names as well.

The survey is quite comprehensive and includes several pages of questions.

I certainly hope this will lead to more media coverage enabling patients to access the benefits of POC monitoring in Canada and elsewhere.

I will help you or anyone else that needs it. All they need do is download this executable and allow me to remotely enter their machine by providing the ID number and 4 digit password either by phone or email.

A lot of folks hear the word allow me to remotely enter their machine and freak out. Honestly, I'm only going to help fix problems you have with your computer or teach you how to do something. You watch the entire process the entire time. If you feel threatened by anything, simple click disconnect. End of story.

I got the quiz a couple of days and filled in my responses but I wanted to have hubby copy it before I mailed it.
Of course I filled in that I would have NEVER known about home testing if it wasn't for VR.com

No, but I used to spend hours and hours helping people remove spyware and viruses. I ended up stopping it because these very same people kept getting infected over and over again. That just told me that they didn't listen to a darn thing I told them about protection and staying away from the sites that infected them.

Yes, it absolutely was via this site otherwise I wouldn't have known either. I thought monitors had not been approved for home use in Canada. Members set me straight thankfully. I did mention all credit belongs to this site for promoting the many advantages of POC monitors.

Toronto General Hospital--site of my training--is responsible for 170 users in their care and the numbers are climbing.

I feel every person on ACT should know and use POC monitors--there are so many advantages.
