Today I lost my virginity (can I say that?) as a chat newbie. Participated in the vr chat today - it was the very first chat room I've ever done. I think I was more nervous about that than my upcoming surgery. Rain, you're right, how do these people type so fast? I'd write a gem and then realize we were two topics later. :) So I just let my fingers rip and I couldn't believe my atrocious spelling (Sister Ita is rolling in her grave). Knightfan, you must have majored in speed typing or you have a dozen stock responses waiting to just hit the enter button.:D Ross, sorry to miss you - heard you went to the store. No, actually I really enjoyed it. Will do it again.

Paul

Hi Paul

I'm not a real quick typer either. You sort of have to type, send, and then read the reply whenever it comes back. Rain is very fast also. I tried a one on one with her and she just blew me away. Hang in there and try to keep up on the reading. It's the only way I know. ;)

Sunday Chat

Sunday Chat

We had our first Sunday Spring Day down South yesterday...Just too pretty of a day to come inside..so I was thinking...Why don't we have 3 different time slots.. All Eastern times (Figure out your own) They could be 4 P.M....6 P.M. and 8 P.M...The 4 p.m. could be for our European Valvers. That would put them at 9 P.M..Billy will lead the chat:D :D :D Valvers inside at 4 P.M...could chat with them...:) :) Bonnie

I'll second that!

I'll second that!

Great idea, Bonnie! A choice of time slot would mean that I could probably "attend" much more regularly. Since the first few weeks at the evening time chat, I have found that a normal family schedule just destroys my chance to get in on the chat. It would only get worse as the weather gets better, too.

Wow!

Wow!

Ross's quote:

"I tried a one on one with her (Rain) and she just blew me away."

Response:

On second thought, I better not.;)

Ross...

You're not supposed to tell, Mr. Rossman!

Paul, you better watch it!! I?ll get even with you in the chat room!! :p

I was absent.....

I was absent.....

My apologies, didn't make the chat on Sunday evening last. Had a 'dinner' to attend on Saturday night and stayed over till Sunday.

It was a 'good' night.

See y'all next week on the eve of the feast of St. Patrick - Please wear your shamrocks.

I had a 'dinner' guest, too, on Friday night and he stayed over til Saturday. :D

Missed you in chat, Billy. Next Sunday I will wear my dear Joe's pin that says "KISS ME, I'M IRISH'. He wore it every March 17th for years.
