On 15 Aug it will be 11 years since undergoing my operation to replace my Aortic valve with an mechanical one. I am doing great and still getting annual check ups, next one is 8 Aug with an echo scheduled. Trust everyone is also doing well and enjoying life. Walter

On 15 Aug it was 9 years since my Aortic valve was replaced by a St Jude valve. All systems go and feeling great. I hope everyone is as fortunate as I have been.

Thanks for all the Birthday wishes. The movie Julie & Julia was quite good. Meryl Streep was especially good and really portrayed Julia Childs to perfection, including the height and distinct accent Julia had. You will leave the movie hungry, so we went out to dinner as soon as it was over...
