Nebraska is moving forward. Just came back from an open house at the Nebraska Heart Hospital located here in town and only about 8 miles from my home. This is where I had my aortic valve replaced back in Aug 2003 and where I go to see my cardiologist. If you wander out to the site below you will find some good pictures of what the place looks like, very modern and very well done.

They do all sorts of procedures here bypass, valves, transplants, pacemakers, stents and revascularizations. I believe they have twenty Docs? on staff that does nothing but hearts. The hospital is about 45 minutes west of Omaha, 2.5 hours north of Kansas City and an hour and twenty minutes from Chicago or Denver by air.
