Or put on a hot to trot exercise out fit…..hit the door running and say “if ya can catch me you can have me:D  :D
That wouldn't even be a challenge for him!!!! I'm slow as molasses. I can barely run for 2 feet before getting too winded to continue... ;) Besides, with his long legs he'd catch me in one stride!

Sadly, that does not work very well with a husband who is parked in front of the computer:p
This is also true... Sad. But true. ;)

WOW!!! Don't ask me how, but I'm down ANOTHER two pounds from Friday! I guess it really was water weight all this time and I just needed to greatly lower my sodium intake and add some exercise in order to get it off (perhaps I sweat it out? ;) ).

I've exercised for the last 3 days and have loved every minute. I'm still doing pilates and 30 minutes of walking/jogging/dancing/etc. to music in the house. Although, yesterday was nice enough that I should have gone outside to walk. But I was waiting for my iPod to charge, so I wouldn't have had any music if I'd gone! ;) The best part is that I can TELL I've been exercising. My leg and ab muscles are a little sore, but a GOOD sore. I'm so excited to be back on track! :D

Hee, hee! I got hubby exercising today! :D I asked him if he cared if I worked out and he said "go ahead." I then turned on my music and began walking/jogging around the living room/kitchen. He goes "Oh. I thought you would use your iPod. I was going to play a video game." I said "I'm sorry. I asked if you minded. Do I need to get out my iPod?" He said no, then went into his room and got out his weights! I asked him if he wanted me to show him some pilates when I finished with my walking and he said no, but when I started doing the exercises he started doing them too (after I explained how to do them). :D Guess I didn't have to say anything, just had to do some exercising in front of him! When I go outside to exercise (walk) he can ignore that I'm being active and he's not. Now I know the secret! Just block his view of the TV! ;)

Way to go, Niki! You're doing great on the weight loss, exercising, and getting Hubby to exercise fronts!

SUPERBOB will be lucky if he survives Super Sunday. There are mounds and mounds of yummy food around here. I guess the only hope is that part of the cornucopia is a big batch of chili -- which may serve as the equivalent of The Chimp's Prune Juice remedy. :D :p

Super Bowl (of Food)

Super Bowl (of Food)

Well, SUPERBOB went wild with the Super Bowl eating. Food was everywhere and he ate it. Result on the scales this morning: Up 4 pounds since Friday.   SUPERBOB did more damage to himself than the Giants defense did to Tom Brady (and they did a lot!). :D

The good news is that without this Throw-Down, SUPERBOB wouldn't have even checked the damage. Now he has a chance to repair it by this Friday. Unlikely to have a net weight loss by Friday, but maybe SUPERBOB can erase the Super Bowl damage. :)

I have to admit to a couple superbowl pounds this morning as well, but since I've been a Giants fan for 50 years, it was worth it.

Lots of water weight today from the Super Bowl chili. Fingers looked like sausages when I woke up. They're looking a little slimmer now.

I did not fall victim to the Super Bowl but I did have a sugar attack on Saturday that spilled into Sunday?..But these things will and do happen?..So this morning I had my oatmeal and went for a 30 minute walk before getting ready for and heading to work?.My walking partner was unable to go so I laced up my sneakers and headed out anyway, I don?t enjoy walking alone that much.

I sat down this weekend and reviewed my quest for a thinner me?..I do not think I can do much more in the way of changing my eating habits?..For the most part I am controlling portions and eating healthy so the only missing ingredient is consistent exercise?..I made the commitment this morning that I was going to walk 30 minutes everyday, Monday through Friday?..I realized right there I had set myself up to fail?..I need to do this one day at a time, after all that approach has worked in other areas?.I told myself that I don?t really like to exercise but on further examination that is not the issue?..I have a tendency to be lazy and I need to attack it from that flank.

All in all I am encouraged and like SuperBob the throw down is the bur that I need under my saddle?..Have a great week and good luck with your quest, whatever it may be.

Good point. Chili is bound to have a LOT of sodium, and SUPERBOB ate a lot of SUPERBOWL chili. He will try to be good today and see what the scales look like tomorrow. :)

If you ate alot of no-no's yesterday, why check your scales today?

Gluttons for punishment??????? :p :p Or in denial of what you know you ate? :p :p

Because, Dear Ref, if I didn't check, I would just keep adding to the damage. Have all of these calorie-laden Super Bowl leftovers still around, after all. :p Thought the Ref of all people would understand how this accountability works. :p :p

Sorry, SuperBob.:(
If it were me, I would chuck the leftovers, stay off the scales for a few days, walk extra with SuperDawg Sadie, and see how I fared on Friday!:)
By the way, that's exactly what I'm doing.;) Mind if I borrow Sadie?:p

The Super Bowl is a special occasion and only comes once a year??.as does Easter, Christmas, Forth of July, Kwanza, Birthdays (mine and anyone else?s I can get cake from), Hanukkah, First Day Of Spring, First Day of Winter, MLK Day, Thanksgiving, Valentines Day, New Years Day??..If I left any out it was unintentional.

OMG??this is pure and unadulterated madness!!! Like I need this many excuse to stuff my face???.pass the French fries please.:p
