Had him to the surgeon today. Presurgery testing tomorrow and surgery next Tuesday to remove the hardware and shave some bone off of his ankle. Nope, still can't walk on it. It may still have to be amputated, but were working slowly through all possiblilities.

I might be a Grandpa. Waiting to see if the rabbit dies.

Every time I see another car crash and DUI on television, I am thinking of your son....
I'm sending best wishes and prayers for next week.

And you don't gotta kill no bunnies.....buy a dip stick test.;) :)
Wow, very exciting!!

I year ago September 16th.

Savannah is not the momma.

Well Chris will certainly be in my prayers too for a successful outcome. Many times when I start feeling blue about being so limited with my measly broken foot I think of Chris and feel rather ashamed of myself. It has only been 8 weeks for me and he has suffered far more for so much longer.

When will we know how the bunny is doing?

Will be thinking of Chris and praying for a good outcome- in all respects!

I knew it had been a long time..something about them going to a lake?and Chris having flip/flops on?....Geez. need new glasses..:p Missed the tiny posting...You will make a great Grandpa..:) Grandchildren are the BEST..Makes up for our raising our children.(problems, ect)..Plus we can spoil them and send them home.:D Bonnie

Ross, I'll be thinking of Chris and his upcoming surgery. Praying for a good outcome. Let us know as soon as you find out about being a grandpa! LINDA

Cindy remembered and told me on September 16 that it had been a year.

Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you for a good outcome.

Grandpa Ross. It does sound like a hopping name huh?

I pray the best possible results happen for everything coming up, both the foot and if you will be a grandfather.
I was thinking of Chris this weekend, He is perfectly fine, but Justin was rearended on I-95 sat , his car was totalled, but he didn't get a bump. We haven't gotten the police report yet, but the other cars she zoomed by before she smashed into Justin stopped to help and be witnesses. Justin said they were saying she and her passengers were drunk (AND her Mom or grandmom was in the backseat). I kept thinking about Chris and how (once again) Justin's guardian Angels were working overtime.
Is Chris still living with you and Lynn?

I'll be praying that they are able to achieve the best mobility as possible for Chris.

Ross.....You know my thoughts and prayers are with you and Chris...

Things have been crazy in my neck of the woods lately, but I want you to know that I am always thinking about how you and Chris and your family are making out with Chris' ankle, and you all are in my prayers.

......Now....About this grandpa thing...LOL....why did you put it in such smaller print? You trying to hide the fact that you might have an adorable child that you can spend time with, make funny faces at, and totally overwhelm with your special sense of humor that only a Grandpa can give?:D :D :p :D :D ....

Well, the only thing I can say is.......If you do find out that you will be one....CONGRATULATIONS in advance... (I won't be on much until Saturday as I have to go to Boston Friday and will be gone all day) Harrybaby:D :D :D

I'll be praying for Chris.....a new baby may be the thing that you all need, they bring so much happiness to watch

Chris done put his foot in the doo doo this time. He's been seeing Savannah, though they aren't as close as they were. He's also been seeing another girl, Andrea. Chris is in love with Savannah, but not Andrea. Andrea is the momma. Andrea already has one little boy. Carter and he's a trip. It was heartbreaking here last night. He had Savannah over to tell her what was going on and I don't know her thoughts or feelings on the matter, but they both stood there and cried holding each other.

Here is the latest xray with all the hardware to be removed. What a fun project!

they just don't think, do they? I hope a good answer is found because this has messed up some more lives.

One wonders how kids can get into such messes.

Not the baby's fault. You will love it, nonetheless.

ALL THE family gets upset at first, then once we realize there is a real baby involved, we get over it and back on track.

Should I say congratulations. I do, anyway.
