I don't think you folks will ever truly know just how much I love you. Even those of you that really piss me off sometimes when we don't see things alike! I've been around all of you far too long and have shared far too much not to be school boy crazy in love with you.

hi ross,
we hope you know that the feeling is mutual..... this is starting to sound like a love-fest....
no, really, you are so special to each and every one of us. pls try to keep your chin up and look forward and be positive... we are all praying and pulling for you (cheerleading)...we love you too.
just get stronger, rest up, pamper yourself a bit (?)...so we can have you around for a long time.
hugs,
sylvia

Glad you are back

Glad you are back

Ross I am pleased that you have got out of hospital and are back with us. Now all we have to do is work on getting you to sleep in the middle of the night Ohio time instead of posting. ;)

Hello Ross,

I was so glad to see that you are home and posting. I have been following the posts here, and have kept you in my thoughts and prayers over here in Germany.

I thought I would share some information my doctors told me regarding my aortic aneurysm concerns. You see, it appears that after my dissection they discovered that I have one that is 3.4 cm. That being said, my vascular surgeon informed me that this can stay stable for life, or for a long time.

So far mine has remained unchanged for over 6 years. I hope you also have the same good luck for many years.

Rset up my friend, and try to keep positive.

Rob

Thanks Rob! I hope this isn't going anywhere. Just knowing it exists after the ascending dissection has me petrified as small as it is. Hopefully if something has to be done, it can be stented rather then full blown surgery. I won't make it through a third surgery. I know this deep in my heart already.

Uncle!!

Uncle!!

Ok Ross - I cry Uncle!

You are never allowed to leave this forum to me again

No - Seriously now...

We are so glad that you are home. Take care of yourself first and foremost. We are here to support you in whatever way we can..

And now that you are home..... Here comes the meat! I hope your woman can grill cause you are not allowed to do it with oxygen on!

grilled Steak = good

Grilled Ross = bad

Love ya buddy...

In a manly sort of way of course - lets not start any rumors....

Have you ever seen the A1 Steak Sauce commercial where the guy accidentally spills the drop of A1 on the hot grill grate, then licks it off and in the next scene, is setting in the back of an ambulance with his tongue all bandaged up and asking if his steak is ok? Well that's me!

We've been known to cook out on the grill in sub zero weather and year round. Nothing like the taste of open air cooking. ;)

STEAK SAUCE???? who in their right mind uses steak sauce? any "griller" worth their grain in propane knows how to cook a mighty fine steak without having to cover up the great taste of steak with that stuff..;)

seriously Ross, glad your back.. and on the road to recovery!

Hey buddy,
I can't believe I'm just now hearing about all this drama you've been through! I feel terrible that I didn't let you know sooner how worried I would have been  if I had known about you being in the hospital and having all this scary stuff going on.
Of course all the nurses were hot! :p although not all of us have tattoos!
Glad you're home and stirring up trouble again. Now just be good and keep us posted as you get better!
xoxox,
Carolyn

Ross

I'm so glad to hear that you are home. You need to rest up and let your body heal some. I'm sorry to hear about the abdominal anuerysm. I know that has to be extremely frightening. Just take one thing at a time. It is small and will possibly never change. One thing is that you now know it is there and can keep a very very close eye on it. You are definitely in my thoughts and prayers are coming your way to help you through this tough time.
We love you Ross. Try not to scare us again! OK? ;)

Take Care & God Bless!
Gail

Sorry buddy, but when I got 67/40 for a BP, I thought it best to worry a little bit.

*raises eyebrow*

What on earth are you apologizing for? When you need to worry and get thyself to a hospital ... no need to apologize! I'm just sorry I didn't have time to run down to Canton to visit you.....

Maybe next time?
