three days post surgery

Hello again everyone. I had my operation on Monday of this week and the whole thing was nowhere near as bad as I had imagined. I've been lucky to have no problems so far and I'm scheduled to go home tomorrow or the next day. If a medical coward like me can get through this then anyone can! I have a new mechanical aortic valve and I've started my warfarin tablets. I'm aware of what to look out for but I'm much more positive now. Thanks for all the messages of support.

Excellent to hear how well you are doing. Don't rush it. If they let you go home, follow their instructions. Most of the time, they really do know best.
