So, I am driving back from church with six year old Ellie and four year old Frisco. Ellie is trying to explain her Sunday School lesson to Frisco. Ellie is starting to carefully explain the doctrine that God is everywhere. Frisco is having problems with this, so Ellie basically repeats that God is, indeed, everywhere. By now I am peeking at them in their cars seats. Frisco checks over his shoulder, then confidently states....."well, he's not in this car".

Hi, Dennis, it sounds like our Brooklyn. After I explained that the doctor would put a new part inside my heart just like the mechanic fixed the car, she was silent for awhile before asking. "But, how will they get the new part inside? You don't have a door!".

Kids have a knack for saying things that are so profound and funny at the same time. I've certainly enjoyed watching my nephew grow; he's 3 now.
