the wire saga update

greeting to all. I just wanted to update you all on the latest, so as to put everyone's mind at ease. The doc cleaned my wound and sent me home with some non-stick bandages. They seem to have done the trick, as I'm now the proud owner of a healthy, dry scab! Hooray! Thanks to everyone for their concerns and advice. The wound is directly in the middle of the sternum, at the top of the incision, and it's perfectly round. Looks a bit like a 3rd nipple if you ask me. Anyway, in addition to looking after my wound, the surgeon took another x-ray and said my sternum has successfully healed! Yipee! I can start riding my bicycle, lifting heavier things, and can finally start to build up my lost muscle. Good luck to everyone in the waiting room or just out of the operating room. 3 months post op feels good and it came so quickly!
