Hi everyone, I hope life is being kind.
Can I ask if anyone else is experiencing reoccurring neck discomfort, it is like pressure at the base of my head and into my neck, I tend to put all aches and pains down to my leaking valve as this symptom has been reoccurring over many years too

Normally, I had great tolerance to discomfort. But when I had those frequent sharp pains/muscle twists ??, before my surgery, my tolerance was nill! I attributed them to anxiety and possibly they were due to my aortic regurgitation, as you said.

Since my surgery, I only had them twice but not sharp as before.

I have had pain on both sides of my neck since surgery, and I wrote it off to tension. Then I mentioned it to my doc. He did an exam and I later had some x-rays, and found that I have some arthritis of the neck and spine. Doc says it is quite common as we age. Isn't this "getting older" thing fun?
