Surgery in Two Days

Hi Everyone,
Today my husband and I go in for pre-screening and to watch a film.
Thursday we report at 5:00 am for my aortic valve replacement and possible mitral valve ring.
All the posts I've been reading are very helpful and now it will be good to get on with things (I think :redface2::redface2

Much appreciation for the good wishes.
At the pre-screening today it was confirmed there will be aortic valve replacement, aortic root repair and mitral valve repair.
We were shown a video, very helpful. All in all, I feel I am in very good hands, especially the loving God of my understanding. Thanks to all. (And I will report back on how it goes!)

All the best. As luck would have it, I got a new AV and a MV ring myself! At 5 months, I'm bicycling at normal (lunatic aggressive) speed, though not running yet. Feeling remarkably normal and asymptomatic. Wishing you the same, or better!
