I started drinking the juice and eating the fruit. My INR increased beyond my range. I googled and found that pomegranate has anti-coagulation properties. I will skip the fruit and drink a smaller amount of the juice every day.

Are there any other foods that have anti-coagulation properties? I know of foods that thin blood, but that is not what I am interest in.

Hey Herb,

I didn't know that about Pomegranate, but I'm glad you found out about it. I'd go the other way if I were you though. Skip the juice, eat the fruit. Lots and lots of calories in juice....think about how many pomegranates it takes to make one cup of juice...YIKES!

About a year ago someone else posted the same question.
I was very happy to hear (at that time) that one could eat the fruit.
I think it was Ross who said there would be no problem with ones INR.
Now I just don't know what to think - although I haven't had any pomegranates for over a year, since I'm the only one who enjoys them in my house.
