New Grand Dog

Our daughter Jessica and her family are getting a yellow lab puppy. She's one of 10 yellows in the litter. Father is red, mother yellow. She is currently called Miss Pink, but we think when Jessica picks her up this Friday she'll thereafter be known as Lola.

what a cutie. Don't we love our granddogs. My son and his lovely wife have a wonderful doggie that is their child as they are not blessed with human children. Little Daisy goes everywhere with them. Cindy knows the song you're talking about. She says it's kind of sultry and goes with the showgirl theme of the song "Copa Cabana" Lola is actually being named after "Lola" by the Kinks and "Copa Cabana" by Barry Manilow. Her registered name will be something like Music's Lola is a Kinky Showgirl. I'm going to tell Jessica about "Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets"

Another funny thing about you mentioning that song is that Jessica has sort of a bet with her husband that she will be able to train Lola. She's reading at least two puppy training books and expects to have a somewhat perfectly trained dog. We believe that whatever Lola wants, she will get.
