Hello everyone,
Just wanted to say hi & sorry for not being around lately,
Been really busy with school, family, friends, and been in and out of hospital a few times to with suspected endo, cellulitis, and appendicitis :( but thankfully the endo came back clear, i was on iv's for 10 days for the cellulitis and on strong antibiotics to clear up the suspected appendicitis so its been all go for me lol, but i'm good now :)
Still no word on op #6 :( even though i was told in March i'd have it in july at the latest, now looking at september-october time but i'll beleive in when i'm about to be put under LOL!! I've got a 7 day ECG tape on at the minute as i seen a general cardiologist 2 week ago and he's worried about the palpitations i've been getting, so wanted a 7 day ecg on yey -__- most annoying things in the history of man LMAO! He thinks they are just to do with the fact the right side of my heart not working right but needs to rule anything sinister out, although he did scare me when he said my AV has a very loud leak on it!?! and my pulmonary one wasn't too bad! Hoping he's just got these mixed up!!! But he said the ECG will tell us more, back in 6 month to see him and then back over in october to see my ACHD specialist cardiologist.
So now my aims for over summer:
1. Pass my theory test so i can pass my practicle test and drive a car,
2. Continue organising a charity night for my local A&E unit and ambulance service to say thanks for everything they did for me last year,
3.16th August its exam results day :eek2: but hopefully we'll all be celebrating either way we'll either be celebrating or drowning our sorrows ;)
4.Continue fighting to keep my CHD unit open (the NHS has had a reveiw of all CHD hospital reducing the surgery ability from 11 hospital that perform surgery to 7 although they are keeping ALL other abilities such as caths, outpatients etc par doing OHS!! although mine stayed open :D the hospital that was reduced of there surgery abilities is appealing to have there's stay open so where still fighting grrr but there using nasty tactics lieing about the hospital, and targeting individuals :( sad really but hey we'll fight back but using better tactics & in a better way without the lies!!)
Anyway,
Hope your all doing well,
Off to catch up :)
Love Sarah xxxx

Hellllllo right back, Sarah!:smile2:
Good to see you posting. I keep checking to see if there's any word on a surgery date, but as you say, it will get here when it gets here.
Bet you can't wait until you can drive a car!

I actually can't! I've been learning since January and my instructor said i should hopefully have passed by the end of this year :D xxx

Good to hear from you. I thought about you last night during the opening ceremonies. I couldn't help but think that the delays for your Op 6 didn't quite jive with my expectations for the celebration of an exceptional medical system.

Sarah
Welcome back.
Sorry to read about the recent medical dramas.
Study hard and passing the theory test shouldn't be too hard. It casts me back to when I went though the lead up to getting my drivers licence, its one of those rights of passage.

Good to hear from you, Sarah.
I was just thinking about you a few days ago and hoped you'd check in soon. :)

I love your spirit and hope all the challenges you are dealing with at the moment have great outcomes.
Best Wishes.
