Had mital valve repair

I had minimal invasive mitral repair using robotics 7 days ago. I was more or less pain free right after surgery. Out of the hospital in 34 hr after waking up. I had severe regurgation as a result of prolapse. I haven't had to take any pain medication since leaving the hospital.

Certainly not as bad as I thought it might be. So if you doctor recommends it, do it sooner then later.

Mikec, Great to hear you are doing well. Like yourselve I had the same problem. I'm 13 days post-op and feeling great. I just had my first good night sleep last night. As far as the surgery , just very uncomfortable. Stop pain meds on the second day home. For me the wait was the biggest pain.

Great news Mike. Keep active and use the spirometer. Walk every day for a bit.
