Not sure if this is the right forum, so my apologies up front, but I thought I would respectfully change the tune and ask what some of your favorite quote(s) are to uplift our spirits....here a a few of mine ;)

my original was supposed to say "opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls (i.e. common clothes) and looks like work. Darn meds - LOL

A couple that I've found to be quite useful in business:

Nice, Bradvo, humor is great - especially on this site...

EPSTNS - I have always liked 'beg forgiveness vs. ask for permission (and find myself using more than I probably should) - LOL
 
from a competitive nature (from the lighter side, not what I would teach my kids):

- 2nd place is 1st place loser
- winning isn't everything, but losing sucks
 
One of my favorite quotes is by Groucho Marx:

Two of Groucho's other quotes, perhaps more appropriate to this forum are:

and

"A hospital bed is a parked taxi with the meter running."
 
It seems to me that a favorite quotes thread wouldn't be complete without something from Yogi: "When you come to a fork in the road, take it."
