First let me say thank you for all the prayers offered up for Bill, he came through fine and should be moved to a step-down room in the morning. Secondly, no way I'm weighing in today. I'm having a bit of a problem with my lungs and have been eating myself silly. I think the antibiotics, steroid sprays and stress have caused TheChimp to carb-crave.

So, how have you done this week? Who is setting the pace? Who will be crowned victor of the Sprint To 11-11-11? I hope you have had a great week!!! On to 11-11-11:thumbup:

Sprint To 11-11-11 Starting Weight: 207.5

So glad to hear Bill came through fine. Praying for a smooth recovery.

Superbob's starting weight for Sprint to 11-11-11: 117.934 kg

Superbob's weight as of this morning: 117.480 kg

Loss for the race: 0.454 kg

Superbob is selecting the Victoria's Secret models to deliver his prize cranberry-orange scones to him on 11-11-11. :D

Here's a website with the sweeties' diet ideas::thumbup:

I'm up as expected. I think the meds have something to do with it but I know that eating lake crazed person without thought to weight or health is the main culprit. I will try and do better this week.

Sprint To 11-11-11 Starting Weight: 207.5
This Week :212 (+4.5)

Cooker, great news on Bill. As for you, it's so hard to eat properly with steroids, plus stress and having your routine upset by spending so much time at the hospital with Bill and his wife. You'll get back on track next week.

Yo, Bob, Half a kilogram is a pound, so that's a good loss!

My start weight was 140.
Monday's WW weigh in was 137.9, so -2.1 for the week.
I'm up a few ounces since Monday, but I'm working at it.

I feel hit by a truck this morning. I tripped in dog class last night, so my muscles ache, plus I didn't sleep well at all. Jet and DH were both restless all night. I didn't want to work out this morning, but I did! I'm proud of myself for that.

Heeeeerrrrrrrreeeee Advil.....Maybe that's what I'll name the next dog.

Hi Everyone

Starting weight for throwdown, 206 lbs....today ....203 lbs
Starting waist measurment 391/2 in,....today.....381/2 in

I'm such a loser! With the loss in waist measurement its starting to become obvious when I do up my belt there is an excess of fabric being cinched in. Likely be seeing my doctor in the next week or so, have to ask him if I've become too skinny, not that I can tell these things. I don't think he gets that question very often. I'll go with his recommendation. I remember when the last time I saw 381/2, it was sometime in my 30's. I think in my fifties there is some grace and levity to that measurement.

Glad to hear your friend made it through surgery Cooker! Scones on a platter sound good, but the girls, that would throw me over something, I'd hafta be more careful in those thoughts.

Happy trails

Bob

Cooker, I think considering your week, you didn't do too bad. You can turn that around quickly. Good to hear about Bill!

Good job Laurie, SB and CB! What a great week Laurie. The Bobs with a pound each. AND another inch gone for CB. I had better get to work!

My starting weight was 184.4. This week I'm down 1/2 pound at 183.9. My scale weight differently on three attempts; I took the highest weight so as not to put myself at a disadvantage for next week.

I just got news from my GP (of sorts - he's really a specialist; I don't have a local PCP yet). My sugar reading has crept up a little more, although still in the prediabetic range (120). I have been ordered off of sugar, 40% of my diet must be greens, no processed foods, and I have to walk 90 minutes a day, total, which will be 90 minutes more than I'm currently walking.. : ( Also, apparently the increase in beef in my diet recently has increased my homocysteine reading, so it's back to ground turkey. Wish me luck and pray for my wife because I know this will be a challenge for me. But, now I know that I HAVE to exercise if I'm going to be healthy. Ugh.

Sounds like our merry crew is doing well overall, congrats to Laurie, C-Bob, and Wise -- and Cooker, you'll be back in the trimming mode soon, we all know it. Sounds like we all have our trials and tribulations, though. Sorry about the accident, Laurie; hope you are over the soreness soon. I know all about overactive dogs -- my son's crazy lab pup is a handful! Wise, it sounds like your doctor is really, really strict! I am lucky to ever have a blood glucose reading as low as 120 -- but we are all different, I know.

Meanwhile, what about Duffey? Sure hope her CT-Scan results were good. It is nerve-wracking to wait for test results! Thinking good thoughts for you, Mary.

Superdawg really had me stepping up the pace and length of walk this morning. Keep that Canadian air headed down this way, Bina! SB and SD love it!

No loss this week…but no gain either! Weight is staying steady at 163............................ Hope everyone is doing well and is ready for fall.

Have a nice weekend and keep safe & eat healthy.

Cindy's starting weight was 150.9 and this week it's 150.2. So, that's down .7 for the week and for the race to 11-11-11.

Good Saturday to all!

A quick update. I think most know that I have been having lung problems. The lab and xray results arrived in the mail yesterday and all is normal, it fact, some is great (cholesterol, 143). I'm still using Advair twice a day and will continue until my yearly physical this coming Thursday. It's good to get at least part of the monkey off my back:wink2:

Hey, great news, Tom! Wishing you the best on the upcoming physical.

Hopefully your lungs are just reacting to allergies and nothing else...We are in the Fall Season allergy mode. YUK.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes! I feel much better and made myself get back walking this morning:thumbup: My weight is going in the right direction (209.5) this morning ala natural:redface2: .... Have a great day!!

Good to hear! Also, I could use some "a la natural."

Tom, I know what damage meds can do to the waistline. I thought I would check in and see how everyone was doing. Steroids, Lyrica and high dose Prilosec/Nexium did a real number on me. The good news for me is that I'm now off them and the weight is slowly coming off. I'm still on a restricted diet since the Fundoplication for reflux. It is almost three weeks so I'll soon be able to eat Fruits and salads again. I really miss them.

Wise, sorry about your sugar levels. It is good to catch that so early though.
Super bob, what's up with using the metric system? You are making me work to figure out your weight!
