Glad to hear you are on the other side. I am 3 weeks out from aortic valve replacement with Dr. Cameron. I guess I was lucky- I barely remember the tube. My surgery was over at 7pm and they took the tube out at midnight. All I remember is the nurses telling me to sit up and cough. Then it was out and back to sleep........

Let me say I have been having computer issues which kept me from getting on this site.
I'm sorry I missed your surgery date. I know how anxious you were. I had the same issue with the tube! They did take it out when I hit stepdown though. I hope you are getting better everyday. Such good news that they were able to spare the valve. So Dr. Cameron treated you well I assume? Any glitches?
