Brought forward to Fri 27th May

Call from surgeons secretary at 4pm, would I like to go in on 26th, for surgery 27th.
So wrapped up work, wrote down 6 passwords (Its bad enough logging on after a week away) and deleted 80% of my mailbox. Thats finished with full time work - 3 days a week from end of July (or whenever I have to go back). I have left behind lots of things I didnt want to do (and not yet approved) & I imagine they will all be waiting for my return!

Now just 5 more days of watching DVD's, a final trip to the tip with accumulated junk, and sorting out hospital kit. I am told to take the minimum ahead of the op - due to moving wards, intensive care etc, my wife will bring in the entertainment when I settle back in the ward.

So this time next week......

Good deal, Leaky - Now I'm not the only one to have their surgery moved up instead of back! Less time to be worried about it all, anyway.
