Barb got in late last night, and had to take a limo to our-hotel in San Francisco. *Barb saw two Japanese girls do something that we both thought very wise, especially for women travelers. Without making any kind of show, they very quietly, with their iPhones, took a picture of the license plate of the limo they boarded from the airport. They probably forwarded it to someone in the event of any safety issues.*

This is indeed a good reminder. I've always had a thing for remembering numbers (accounting), so it is kind of
automatic for me to check plate numbers, but taking a pic of the plate is so fast and is instantly stored or shared.

Just recalling the time I left my daughter in the hands of her first car driving instructor, as they drove out of the
parking lot I figured that I couldn't really follow them, but you can be dang sure that I had written down the plate
number, colour and model of the car.
