Yup, Been two years ago that I had my mitral valve repaired at CCF after a bout with IE. I had the da Vinci robotic method and you can barely notice the scars today! I have had several echos since the date and all regurgitation has been trivial. I decided to take a more serious attitude about my health and have also lost almost 50 lbs. My health is better than ever today!

This site was/is very supportive and I kind of feel guilty about using it when I was sick and then taking off once things got better:frown2: However, if anyone finds this post through a search or is considering this method of repair, I would be happy to answer any questions I can about the experience.
