Best wishes for a successful replacement and a quick, complication free recovery! I hope someone will update us in the postsurgery forum so we know that everything went well. We worry when we don't get word.:(

God bless and Godspeed!

Thanks everyone. I feel better today, but just a little shaky. I have a 10 week ole' grandbaby and I've just been bonding and loving on her this morning. She is grandma's sleeping partner. She loves sleeping on Papa's pillow so he puts her on his pillow and she sleeps next to me in the mornings.

They are much more fun that the kids were.....hehe.

Thanks everyone. I love all the well wishes.

I am just kind of sitting here today watching the hours tick by. Hey, at least I am one up with springing forward....hehe.

This is the worst part, beleive it or not. The entire event leading up to the real deal is the killer. Once it's over, you'll wonder why you were so scared, but tell you what, it doesn't matter if it's your first surgery or not, you still have those feelings if you have to do it again.

Best of luck to you for a bump free recovery and speedy one also.

Praying for a quick recovery!

In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths."

I know everyone. I am a worrier. I come from that kind of family. I do have lots of great qualities though.....hehe.

I have about driven my dear hubby crazy this weekend. He left here about 5 and said he had some things to do at work. I think he just wanted to get away from me.

It's possible, but don't forget, he's going through probably more stress at this point then you are. I know that doesn't sound right, but honestly, that's about the way it is for our significant others. We get to sleep through all of it, they don't. They get to sit and worry, thinking the absolute worst until they are told otherwise.

Just try to keep it together for a little while longer. Your almost there.

Don't forget, when your wheeled into the OR, look around, you won't see us but we'll all are there with you. Don't forget it!

All of you have been wonderful. I am so glad it's Sunday night. I've got most of my bag packed. I just ate a healthy Subway sandwich for my last meal until after the catherization tomorrow. I've been trying to give up Coca Cola but even indulged in one of those. My cath is at 7 in the morning and I'll even be glad to get that darned thing over with.

Hopefully I get to walk over to the hospital a few hours later and check in. If insurance doesn't approve then I have to come back home and go back downtown the next morning before the sun rises.

I do appreciate all the best wishes. I showed hubby how to go on to the site and sign in. He said he' keep you all updated.
