John, in the past when we've discussed this, some tissue valvers chose not to purchase any extra ID, and others still wanted the ID to provide medication and physician info. It's your call.
 
I, too wear a medic alert bracelet. After I found that the aortic stenosis was severe and the doc wanted to 'wait' for my surgery I decided to purchase one. It says 'severe aortic valve stenosis'. I feel more secure knowing that if I 'pass out', the explanation for this is on the bracelet and they will know who to contact. :)
 
Can anyone post a link to these nicer looking bracelets? Mine is borrring. :(

Yup Bina i didn't wanna to either,pain filling it all out ,but had to go for
change of meds and from 1 valve to 2 now.
Better late than never.....not sure if late with update or 2nd valve;)
Mines done,sighned,sealed, mailed.
One way to get a new bracelet,had my other since 1992.

What do you want Duffster? I've found some gold ones that are like $100.
 
Duff, you can also buy the standard medic alert bracelet and have the metal ID emblem part inserted into another bracelet or strap of your choosing. I'm thinking about having a second one with my own choice of beads. I have lots of beading supplies.
