Hi, all!

I just got back from the hospital. I finally got a hold of the nurse at my cardio's, and she had a very difficult time finding a stable pulse in my foot. She thought it was a good idea for me to head over to the cardiology dept at the hospital for a doppler.

I ran into my cardio there, and after the (wonderful and really sweet!) technician did my doppler, Dr. V came in and said that I was having spasms in my artery because of the cold. I have poor blood flow in my right leg, but at least the groin area wasn't filling up with scar tissue again. Whew! My cardio said to put on some thicker socks, but not before he gave me a bad time. He's such a weirdo sometimes (and I mean that respectfully!)

Thanks again for all your input!

Love,
Debi (debster913)

Happy to hear you got a good report.
Did you stop and buy some warmer socks? :D Anything to keep our cardios happy. :)

Yup, stopped by the mall on the way home to buy some thicker socks. I do whatever I can to make the cardio happy, but sometimes I cheat (like eat a bit of chocolate every now and then, since I'm not supposed to!).

Thicker socks, clothing?

Thicker socks, clothing?

I've never equated thicker anything with California;) especially socks. Oh well, live and learn.
