I have them in my prayers. Nancy, St Jude is one of the medals I have by Justin when he is in the hospital (when he was a toddler I had them pinned on his Bert doll that went to the OR with him) St.Jude and St. John Nueman (Philly Saint http://www.stjohnneumann.org/life.html ) got Justin thru some pretty rough times.

I am praying to St Jude too...as a lapsed Catholic girl myself I really like Nancys prayer to StJude...quite appropriate as many of us here sport StJude valves and I believe he is the patron saint of hopeless situations...
My mum prayed to him when I was in a bit if a bad way 3 years ago.

You guys are all so wonderful. I just got through discussing posting the info below with Hayley (imhaley) and she said she wanted you all to know what is going on. I have let her know about the prayers and good wishes coming her way and I think she sounds better already.

Just out of the hospital for three days. INR's
were too high and they needed to watch me.
I also have been diagnosed with chf and ph.
My thyroid is outta whack so I?m on meds for that
and today at my follow up appt. I took a breathing test
and failed so I have to now use an inhaler.

I have filed for disability social security.

I?m depressed to say the least. I have
separated from my husband also.

Let?s see.....my family never even called or visited me
when I was in hospital.

Hayley has been going through this for some time but didn't want to feel like she was complaining.:eek:;) I told her she needed to "complain" to help get through this emotionally - too much, too fast.

Thanks to all of you from Hayley.

Oh dear, that is just terrible. Hayley, you will get through this. Thyroid can be taken care of fairly easily. CHF can be controlled quite well, and there are some good medications for PH too.

INRs also can be controlled.

Your husband, that is a shame. But time heals things like that.

You have a lot going on right now, but little by little they will all get taken care of.

Come back and join us here. We all care about you and want the best for you.

God Bless.

Dear Hayley,

I am so sorry you are going thru all this & I am praying so hard for you to get thru it all!

I was in your situation many, many years ago & I know the emotional turmoil you are going through. I'm also so dismayed & disappointed to hear that your family has "shunned" you during this difficult time. I pray for them too!

I remember I was so hurt because my ex nor his family ever made the attempt to even find out if I was alive or dead during my struggle. But at least I had the love & support from my family & I don't know how I would have gotten thru any of it without them!

Please don't feel like you're whining or complaining......you need to have an outlet, a sounding board, a group of support & that's what we're all here for, so please keep us informed of what's going on, please!!

Praying for you my friend!

Hayley, support groups exist for a reason......and this is a great one.
So many of us come here and stay on here because of the deep understanding and friendships.
Best wishes to you, try to deal with one day at a time.

Haley, I'm sorry you are dealing with so many struggles at the moment. We are all here to help any way we can. You will get through it.

Kim

Haley, I am sorry you are going thru so much and keeping you in my prayers. please feel free to vent, it really helps me to get things out.

Hayley, really sounds like you're dealing with several misfortunes all at once, and that can be tough. But one by one, you will be able to manage them, and come out strongly. Please call on all these wonderful people here.

I have heard that filing for social security disability can be a snarled process. It might be good to get some expert advice in expediting. I seem to recall Ross had discussed this before, and maybe ohers here have experiences.

My wife has had to take thyroid medicine for a long time -- it's no biggie for her, and she has dealt with multiple problems (strokes, brain aneurysm, now a fractured shoulder).

Not minimizing any of your problems -- and I know, added together, they are a load. But hope you will call on we folks here as your support group. There is help available.

Cheers..
