Team,
They must be having a Fire Sale on surgeries in Vancouver this week:D!
I just had a call from my surgeon's office and they have asked if I can come in tomorrow morning at 6:30am for surgery:) rather than wait for the scheduled Monday timeframe. If I can they "guarantee" I will be done tomorrow, so of course I said YES:cool:. This might be the best way for my wife as I think she was just thinking of starting to get stressed for the Monday timeline:eek: - this way it is all over quickly with only part of a day and night to worry before it actually happens:D. I am just glad that this time it looks like it is going to stick and I can get to join all the others on the Post Surgery forum;)!
Thanks for all the information and support - it has made all the difference to my understanding of the issues and in keeping me in a sound mental state, looking forward to the recovery process rather than worrying about the op itself.

GO FOR IT! :)
The same thing happened to me...I was booked for a Thursday early morning....then they called on the Monday and asked if I could get there to be operated on Tuesday morning. Of course, I accepted, picked up my bag and left.
It's always helpful to be prepared.

6:30am is starting to be a popular time for tomorrow.
Best wishes and prayers coming your way Cameron.

Maybe your wife will be able to post for you..........we tend to worry around here if we don't hear anything.

Best wishes for a successful surgery and easy recovery.

Best wishes for a successful surgery and easy recovery.

We'll be on the lookout for you coming down the mountain.

No time like the present! Best wishes and prayers going your way for a successful surgery. I am hoping someone will be able to post on your behalf.

Cameron hope your surgery goes great and a smooth recovery. I'd say I'll be thinking about you but we'll probably both be in surgery at the same time :) See you on the other side of the mountain..

Oh, wow! Good for you!!

And after having sent us all those glorious photos, :D, you can take those images with you as they wheel you around the back hallways of the hospital.....keep your mind at ease.

Best wishes to you!! Come back soon and let us know how it went for you!

Godspeed.
