It doesn't seem like it has been that long yet it doesn't seem like 6 months is long at all. I will be at my 6 month post op 1/2 valversary on 01-09-2009.:D As others have said, I don't know what I would have done without VR.COM to get information from. Thanks to all!
I am still working for the Police Dept. and no one has asked about the Coumadin. :)(not that I am volunteering any info):eek: I am still trying to go to another PD too. Should hear soon! I FEEL GREAT!!! A twinge here and there, but nothing to get your "knickers in a bunch" about. So much has happened in 6 months, wow! hard to believe.
I will be checking in more often, so you all keep on TIC TIC TIC ing!

Sounds good! The time does go quickly doesn't it?
Congratulations-Dina:)

Congratulations on reaching the 6 month milestone! Your signature says it all, "reborn with a new ticker." Inspiring to all. Keep up the great recovery!

Well done and congratulations Sheepdog ! Sounds like you're doing fine and getting on with things. I hit 1 month TODAY and feel much better than a few weeks back already !

It's always great to hear from you, Sheepdog, but particularly when you're posting that six months has come and gone, and you're feeling terrific!
Congratulations and keep up the good work!

Wow Sheepdog!!! Glad you are doing so good.:) It does'nt seem like you had your OHS 6 months ago, time flys by does'nt it. Keep us updated on the new job. Hope and pray everything works out.

Thanks to all

Thanks to all

I knew I would get a boat load of responses from you all (or "YAALL" as they say here in Georgia) Thanks! Home testing is great. Really want to do it weekly cause thats what I did for most of the last 6 months. I have had my machine for about 2 and used 6 of the 12 strips I got with the original order. I will have to call soon to get more.
Ross, I guess I knew I would make 6 mos. but it still is a shock to think that about 180 days ago I was relying on a pump to circulate my blood. Just kind of weird!
Gotta go watch GRAY'S ANATOMY now.
THANKS AGAIN
