I'm missing her wonderful posts. It's been two weeks since there was any activity from her.

Is everything OK?
 
I got an email from her yesterday or the day before. She and her daughter have been sicker then dogs since before Christmas. I guess they had some guests bring something nasty to them. She should be around soon, but that's why she's MIA.
 
Why is it everyone gets sick this time of year? And if your sick why do people insist on going out and spreading their germs?
I had company last night and she was sick. I tell yea.........ah maybe not.
 
I think she's slowly perking along. She picked up an email card I sent today, so she must be back on the computer. . . hurray!:)
 
I hope Ann is doing ok and starting to feel better. My daughter just got the flu bug and has been sick for a couple days. Been trying to keep things disinfected so I don't get it or any other family member. I have a hard enough time this time of year. I don't need to be going out and passing it around. So I know what your talking about Freddie!!!
 
I did hear from her, and as Ross has said, she is recovering from some nasty "nasty", but told me that today she was feeling a bit better, and would be back soon.

Let's keep her in our prayers.

Yes Freddie...I picked up my bug at my IL's for Thanksgiving and I am
STILL dealing with it(had a relapse) My husband got it first 4 days
after the visit, then 4 days after that I get it:( I think the problem
is that the most contagious stage is before the onset of symptoms,so
you don't even know you are sick at that point. I think they call it
the prodromal stage. But its also true that people go out even when
they do know they are sick too.So it probably wouldn't matter anyway.
So why did I write this? Oh well:cool:

Ann take care of yourself. This sruff is nasty. My husband came down with it Sunday night. He was up most of the night going at both ends and hurting gall over. He also had a terrible head ache and he doesn't get head aches at all. His secretary was sick with it last week. I sinderely hope & pray that I don't get it. My immune system is not the best. I've tried to not get too close but that's almost impossible!

Ann please get well, we miss your posts.

She's getting better and may try to visit us this week. Personally, I think time away from the computer is good for everyone. I can't seem to do it myself, but if you can, hey.

Isn't that the truth Freddie.. I had a luncheon date with a friend and she mentioned on the phone on the day before that she had a "cold"...well, I opted out for lunch. I deplore people who spread germs..:mad: Absolutely no respect for other peoples' health.

New Year? you mean we missed it? omg! actually, we did miss it. we were in bed for days and days and da........... etc. Didn't even get on the computer for days and what a bunch of email there was. daughter's first day back to work today. she was off two weeks. bro in law must've picked it up on their way from Texas for Christmas. He got sick quickly, his wife, my daughter and me w/in another 24 hrs after him. We did get to open presents (albeit without bro in law who was abed) and then we got sick. the rest is a blur. A whole New Year, you say? my, my. the things we miss when we are not paying attention.
