I have an older monitor and keyboard for free, and the used Dell computer P4 with upgrade was $250

We recently had the same type of problem with my nephew's old computer. A family friend used my old laptop as a "slave" to speed his computer up some but, he will need a new one soon. You might have the same option with yours
