Hi all - it has finally happened. I am a mama. We got back from Vietnam last week after spending 2 weeks there adopting Emma Jewell. We are tired - who knew a baby was so much work?! lol The jet lag is something to contend with also. However, Wayne and I are on cloud 9 with this little one. She is a joy and I think we are all bonding well.

Haven't been on the VR.com board for a while for obvious reasons and as always, sad to read of the hard times for some of our members. You are always in my prayers and thoughts.

This photo was taken the other day - Emma's first stroller ride in the Rocky Mountains. It is already fall-like so we went from 100 degree, 95% humidity in Vietnam to 60 degrees and 30% humidity in Colorado! Hence, the fleece sleeper, hat, and blankie for the stroll.
