Just to let you know that my follow-up visit w/my cardio after my cath on was re-scheduled for 7/28. :(

And, I have noticed that I am NOT retaining as much fluid as I was & I continue to feel well which to me is the most important part of all!

Hasta la bye-bye......... :)

I always get irritated with the nurses who say that to me. I want to hear the news whatever. I don't want to have to wonder if my test was never read. If it got lost. If I don't hear something, that does not equate to good news. It only equates to I'm 'still waiting to hear'.

Sorry for the rant and, NOrma, please know I hope all your news gets better and better but it's a personal irritation for me when doctors' offices do not pass along test results.

Yep, I hate that too, but what can you do? You're at their mercy! :(

You can get a copy of the Test Report and read if for yourself. You will need to go to the records office of whatever facility performed the actual test (which is usually a hospital).

If they want to charge you $1 per page, ask them for a copy for you to review right there and only get copies of the pages you really want / need.

(If you tell them you want to take it to your Primary Care Physician, they may just give you the whole report...or send it to him themselves).

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Yep, that would tick me off not knowing results. Maybe the doc could call you w/results. My doc does. May be worth asking?? Good luck.

Deb

Well Norma least you got your cath done thats a
plus and im truly sorry they cancelled appt.Things are moving ....then a halt
in the medical world seems lol like im halted in everyway up my way of the map here. Then all of a sudden the phone will ring,i will have an appt.It hasn't rang yet either and no appt.yet for them to cancel:eek:
But the waiting for phone to ring must be as devastating as your cancelled appt.cus you want answers. We sure maintain patience with our apppointments and surgeries,we are the most trained patients for learning to become (PATIENT).:):rolleyes:and we wear all these emotions throughout our patience.Im almost hating the having to be the one with patience and then i read your cancellation and i know i can wait another day......BOY OH BOY another week!!!! or however long:mad:

Thank you so much for reminding me that I can do that Al! You guys are great!

I just called the Records dept at the hospital & I have to go in & sign a release & the report will be given to me.

Thanks again.

P.S. I hope I can decipher all the Greek lingo!!! (may need your help!)

Glad you are feeling good Norma. Praying that all tests come out positive and you can once again carry on with your life. I know your looking forward to doing some more traveling. Keep us informed on what the results show on your cath.
Crystal:)

Glad you are getting a copy of the report, Norma, but with the "thumbs up" the doctor gave you after the cath, I would hope it is all good news. Glad you are feeling better and the fluid is under control. Best Wishes!

Norma
You will get good news on the 28th since that is my birthday and no one gets bad news on that day. Been praying for you during this tense time.
