Well, I've been scheduled for a "right heart cath" on Friday, July 11th --- it's scheduled for 5:00 pm which means I will be spending the night at the hospital & hopefully be sprung next day if all goes well.
In the meantime, I have been in contact w/Cleveland Heart Institute & they have sent me a list of the 3-surgeons that specialize in high-risk re-op surgeries. They are Dr. Lytle, Pettersson, & Sabik. They advised me that they will be waiting to hear from me after my cardio does the cath & reviews the findings.
I have done a lot of thinking & I came to the conclusion that at 57 yrs old & the fact that I am very much in control of most of my senses, I am not ready to give in & wait to die.
If I'm gonna die from this, then so be it, but I'm NOT going down without a fight!
So here we go...............
I'll keep you posted!
