Thanks everyone for the well wishes and prayers....I am not worried about this. There are some abnormal cells that are not basal....I guess they will get to the bottom of this during surgery....I think they are going to cut and check, cut and check until they get it or identify it all....The Chimp has a few scars so that?s not a concern:cool:....The surgery is Friday the 20th and should take about 30 minutes.

When you are wishing well or saying prayers along the cancer lines please remember Phyllis and Debrinha.......Thanks again....Tom

ps......sorry Bubba, no shave necessary:p

Sorry to read the news; I am sending prayers & bananas your way Cooker. Hope all goes well with your surgery.

now listen, y'all. you hafta quit keepin secrets from the rest of us because when we finally get the news it's a shock.

Tom, you know that prayers are yours for a successful excision and that all the baddies will be removed at once.

One of those purple, pink, black, erose edged things appeared on my arm, was excised and all that's left is a scar - long yrs ago. You will be just fine.

Please keep us posted. And use 85 sun screen, wear a hat, long sleeves and stay outta the sun. You already knew that, didn't you?

Missed this somehow, Tom. You will be in my prayers for a clean report and an easy surgery. A number of years ago, I had Moh surgery on my nose for a basal cell. They only had to go in once and got it all- wishing the same for you.

Cooker,

I hope all goes well for you. You are in my prayers. I hope this procedure does not reduce your appetite for bannas :D:D:D.

Cooker, you are one who is always here, cheering us on with words of encouragement...how dare you think that you weren't going to let us return the favor. I know that everything will turn out fine. Good luck to you on Friday.

Kim

My Tricuspid buddy said it. So Ditto here.

I personally have 2 good friends of long acquaitance who had skin cancer,
both of them are doing well and had no other cancers after several years-
10 years for one and 7 for the other.I know you will come out fine , but I
will send positive energy and prayer your way anyway-Dina

I just saw this and I'm sending off a wish and some positive energy that all goes well with the excision.

I LOL'd at the few scars line. By 22 I knew I'd never wear a bikini again. I guess your thong is off to the Goodwill now?

Praying for ya Cooker..
I have had Basal Cell and Squamous Cell removed..with little to no issues!
