Mary

as I was three years ago today, waiting to be taken to the operating suite for aortic valve replacement.

And now, on my third valversery, the fear is gone and I'm left with over whelming gratitude for the extra years I've been given.:)

Happy anniversary dear Mary:)?..wishing you many, many more!!!....Thanks for all the time, effort and love you put into VR.com?!!!

??.seems like I heard a different pre-op story;)??can?t really recall??;)

I remember talking to a very scared Mary on the phone just before this happened.

Today must be a special day all the way around. Your valvsaversary, my wedding anniversary, my house celebrates being 52 years today and a grand son still coming.

3 years and the rest is history. One of the blessings of valve replacement is that we got you as a member. I wish you many more good years. Your humor picks me up when I'm down. God bless!

Congratulations on three, Mary.

These extra years are a good thing to remember. This website, if it would be here at all, would be posted on by mostly different people. Without valve surgery, most of the "old timers" on this site now would have died within five years of hitting the "severe" level, and would have been bedridden and on oxygen well before that.

Yes, we all must dance with the Reaper. But it can be a slow dance...

Happy annivalversary,

Happy 3rd anniversary, Mary. I remember well when you joined us here and prepared to swim the channel. Your continued presence, help to all and great sense of humor has made these three years fly by and we all look forward to many more!

Well said, Mary. Like icing on a cake? That's how I feel too. So very happy for you and your family :) .

Congratulations on your third re-birthday, Mary!

Gosh, I didn't realize that when you started such a nice thread for my surgery in '05 that you had not yet had yours. Just shows how clueless I am sometimes. :p

Anyway, thanks for everything you do, and best wishes for many, many more happy anniversaries. Hope you have celebrated this one in ways The Ref would approve. ;)

HAPPY 3RD ANNIVERSARY, Mary!

Hope you celebrated...appropriately ;).
