I'm also guessing that Superbob got a good abdominal workout from holding in his stomach around the cute little PT. :D

Not all PTs are cute little tarts. My son is a PT, 6' tall, 9% body fat, looks like a prototypical lifeguard. All the ladies are crazy about him but they don't try to hold in their abs, they thrust out other anatomical features. Plus they bring him lots of cupcakes and choc chip cookies.

LOL, Jack! Bet the ladies get in line to be assigned to your son. I say, God bless the PTs. I was thinking as I left therapy today, it must be a good feeling to be in a line of work in which you know you're helping folks every day.

I joke about the cutie (because I am a dirty old man :p) but what I really like is her attitude -- very knowledgeable with plenty of smiles thrown in. It helps.

And Karlynn, you are more correct than you realize. :) Those knee-tightening exercises also work on the abs, which is another problem the so-called Man of Steel needs to address. :D

Involuntary abdominal crunches are only present in the male of any species:p

HAHAHAHAHAHA....LMAO:D:D:D:D......other anatomical features, cupcakes and choc chip cookies.........Nirvana :D:D

Superbob and Karlyn, you sound like you're doing a wonderful job!

I'm not doing badly, but I'm not doing great either. I exercised on Saturday, but not since then. It's way too hot here to feel like going outside, and the couch is so darn comfy here in the house! :D At least we have a working dish washer now and I'm back to cooking our meals instead of ordering takeout!

Inching on toward my goal...

Inching on toward my goal...

Hi guys, I weighed in tonight and I'm down another .6 lbs from last Tuesday. Considering it hasn't even been a week, I guess that's not too bad. I've been soooo close to 20 lbs for the last few weeks... I just can't seem to get there, but I have less than a pound left, so with any luck...next week will be the ticket.

Great job Jeannie.....slow and steady wins the race:)

Wow Jeannie!...you are getting marvellous results...as Cooker said...slow'n'steady wins the race!

SuperBob....I will watch you progress with the Glucosamine with interest...I chose the cheap version on a whim as it was on special at the Chemist, $10 for 200 capsules... Glucosamine Hydrochloride 750mg...The reading I did suggests 1500mg twice a day...It will be interesting to see if we find any significant differences between the 2 different preparations.

Ton,

I think I will be switching to cheaper versions too after the first go-round with the pricey stuff. I can't afford both gasoline and glucosamine!

Cooker's What Not To Do #1

Cooker's What Not To Do #1

I fully expect impeachment by weeks end.....They say that those that teach us what "not" to do are just as important as those that teach us what "to" do....I think that may be BS but "they" said it, not me....I have decided to document my upward spiral with a list of no no's as they manifest themselves, starting with......

#1...don't open a bag of Jellybeans while watching the late show:)

... buy weeks end...

How do you buy a weeks end and how much do they cost? Can I get this at any store? Is there a limit to how many I can buy? I could really use a weeks end right now. :D;)

I should never type this early in the morning:eek:

Let's get to the meat of this matter. Typos happen. We are not graded. Points are not subtracted. :p But a bag of jellybeans while watching late-night TV?! What was the weight of this jellybean bag . . . or were said jellybeans perched atop Krispy Kreme doughnuts? KK does make jellybean doughnuts, as I am sure The Chimp knows. :p

Articles of Impeachment? Still grateful for the Chimp's defense of Frosted Mini Wheats, Superbob will not initiate those (besides, SB has a conflict of interest in that he is in the line of succession.) Superbob thinks The Chimp should get off with a warning, as soon as he hands over his cache of jellybeans for SB to store in his wife's hideaway containing miniature Almond Joys and Baby Ruths and other delicacies. There, they will be in safekeeping, out of temptation's way.:p

SuperBob always has my back :D....Some just feel the need to point out the Chimps short comings....But that's ok...at least I know they are staying busy :D...

DW fell asleep in the den and I went to bed with the late show and my bag of jellybeans :D...I thought I had pulled it off but was asked this morning at the breakfast table why there was a jellybean in the bed .......Busted ....Back on track today....I hope

So far so good today?.I am back to counting WW points?I know when I don?t log my points I fail miserably:mad:?..I even took my point calculator to Kroger to check the points on snack packs?.pretzels and Lays Cracker Crisp 100 calories are 2 points?.I need something crunchy with my sandwich:p?..Fruit smoothies for breakfast and fruit for snacks?.DW quizzes me and constructs my dinner around my remaining points:D?..

I have had a few stress bombs hit pretty close this week?.Food has replaced the old coping tools:cool:;)?.I know exercise works better but the fridge is closer?..:D

I'm shocked that the Ref wasn't called in for a ruling. Red card to Cooker for jelly beans in bed; yellow card to SB for trying to usurp the Ref's authority!

Superbob is truly remorseful. He will accept his discipline, including mandatory abdominal crunches or whatever The Ref, in her infinite wisdom and power, prescribes. :D:p

Now hold on there SB?..Knowing that the Ref was enjoying her birthday and the homecoming of her son you know we did the right thing in not calling her in?.To interrupt such an occasion would have been unforgivable:eek:?..She is the Ref, all things need a system of checks and balances, but she also needs to be reminded from time to time, that you and I are the ultimate authority:D:D:D?..

What a bunch of malarky!:p
And by the way, are you able to view this picture?
