My scar photo. Well, it's been almost 20 days post-op for me now. Couldn't wait any longer for a tawdry shirt so I broke out a suit... which I could hardly squeeze into. Ever since I got back from the second hospital stay, I've done nothing but eat non-stop! Guess I need to get back to work... ugh!

wonder if they use a ruler - mine starts/ends just where yours does. It will get paler and paler as time goes by.

You look really good. Keep up the good healing.

Gotta love it....lol..

I see there is another Kathy M so I will now sign just Kathy. I also hope she is doing better.

Hey Steve, so glad you got your picture up, I like the suit idea, maybe you could start a new trend!! Are you feeling better, you look good, keep up the breathing! Debbie:)

Wow Steve...you look fantastic~ Especially considering everything you have been though! Your scar looks good for 20 days post op...I think I posted at about 3 weeks also. I still have an area at the top of my scar that is open and weepy....after the scab came off there was this huge crater-like hole that is slowly healing up but still ozzing and nasty. Looks like your scar is nice and clean with no areas that are open. That's great!

By the way, my sis is a nurse at St. Pete's and she said she remembers you coming in....I didn't mention your name, nor did she...just your symptoms and that you were a "friend from the internet." Glad to hear your positive feedback about the hospital!

I like the suit picture. Scar will fade. I was just looking at hubbies this weekend and after 6 1/2 years it barely shows. But what we call the bullet holes are still really visible.
